This page is devoted to listing resources available to people who are in need of a variety of services and for those who do not qualify for either the Chronic and Acute Medical Assistance program or the Medicaid program. The Division of Health Care Services is not responsible for the content and/or services offered by the listed agency/organization. Links will be added as more information becomes available.

• The Alaska Comprehensive Health Insurance Association
  provides health insurance to Alaskans who are denied health care coverage, or adequate coverage, because of medical condition.
• AKInfo
  connects Alaskans seeking services with service providers.
• The Division of Senior and Disabilities Services
  has information and a variety of programs for Alaska's elderly.
• The Medicine Program
  was established by volunteers dedicated to alleviating the plight of an ever increasing number of patients who cannot afford their prescription medication.
• Directory of prescription drug assistance programs
  Lists company programs that provide drugs to physicians whose patients could not otherwise afford them.
• CareCredit
  allows patients to pay for health care treatment over time. A short online application is available. (Click on "Patient/Clients" at the bottom of CareCredit page).
• HealthCare411
  A news series including podcasts and other information for the public and clinicians from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
• Several outreach programs are assisted by Pfizer.
