Alaska Division of Juvenile Justice

The Alaska DJJ DMC Coordinator offers training and technical assistance, in addition to AJJAC members offering DMC presentations in local communities.

The Alaska Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), in conjunction with the Alaska Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee (AJJAC), provides training on DMC issues in the juvenile justice system.

 

Office of Juvenile Justice and Deliquency Prevention

The federal Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) offers free DMC reduction tools, including a technical assistance manual and best practices database, at http://ojjdp.ncjrs.org/dmc/index.html.

 

Coalition for Juvenile Justice

The Coalition for Juvenile Justice (CJJ) hosts national DMC training conferences. Information at www.juvjustice.org.

 

Anne E. Casey Foundation

The Casey Foundation established the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI), which includes training and technical assistance to reduce racial disparities in secure confinement. Information at www.aecf.org.

 

W. Haywood Burns Institute
