Before any new Child Care Licensing regulations are adopted, the Child Care Program Office (CCPO) will be going through a process of reviewing all of the questions and comments received as part of the public comment period. Thank you to everyone who provided comments and questions. This will take some time and may result in further revisions. From there the proposed regulation revisions will go through an approval process at the Department of Health and Social Services and then through the Governor’s Office. The CCPO does not have a timeline for when any proposed regulations may be adopted. If the proposed Child Care Licensing regulation revisions are adopted, there will be many chances to get clarification and information during future informational meetings, conferences and Child Care Licensing Chats.
