- You don’t have to suffer through insomnia, chronic pain, nightmares, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, or depression.
- You can now get confidential, on-line counseling to help you deal with past traumas and learn new coping strategies with all costs covered by the Rural Veterans Health Access Program.
- You do not need to be registered with the VA to access this service.
- Sign up for a 6-8 week session to learn how to use biofeedback to reduce stress and anxiety, and keep the free biofeedback unit for on-going use.
- Or talk to a caring, confidential counselor and learn skills to make daily life easier to manage.

Overview
- The former Alaska Rural Veterans Health Access Program (RVHAP) completed as a pilot project on July 31, 2018. Funding was provided by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy Grant # H3GRH26369-02-00.
- Sitka Counseling is continuing to deliver the same confidential telehealth services: short-term biofeedback stress reduction training and ongoing counseling - now available for all Veterans whether enrolled or unenrolled in the VA health system and their families.

About the Program
- These services are delivered by trauma-informed licensed clinicians who are trained and certified in biofeedback stress reduction and resilience techniques
- Free biofeedback devices are available for the first 100 Veterans who call
- Services are reimbursable by Medicaid, Medicare, private 3rd party insurance, VA referral and the VA CHOICE program or sliding-scale fees
