Play Every Day.
Alaska program focused on increasing children's physical activity. Includes local resources and challenges to improve nutrition and increase activity levels among children and families.


School Screenings

Public Health Nurses (PHNs) participate in School Site Wellness groups, adding a public health focus to the teaching community. Also, working with schools, PHNs may assist with school screenings where there are no local school nurses (or other appropriate resources) to complete the legally mandated screenings for school children in pre-Kindergarten through grade 12.
