Cleft Lip and Palate Services and Delivery
Alaska Cleft Lip and Palate Clinics offer multidisciplinary, long-term, comprehensive, coordinated evaluations and treatment planning for children with craniofacial abnormalities. Each year more than 100 children with clefts are seen by a team of specialists at clinics in Anchorage and Fairbanks. The multidisciplinary team may consist of the following specialties: audiology, nutrition, oral surgery, orthodontics, otolaryngology, parent navigation, pediatric dentistry, pediatrics, plastic surgery, and speech-language pathology. Individuals with cleft lip and palate are eligible for clinic services from birth through 21 years of age or until treatment is complete.
