The Office of the Long Term Care Ombudsman - The Office of the Long Term Care Ombudsman identifies, investigates, and resolves complaints relating to older Alaskans (age 60 and older) who reside in long term care facilities. http://www.akoltco.org/


The Office of Elder Fraud and Assistance - The Office of Elder Fraud & Assistance is charged with addressing all forms of financial exploitation and coordinating related services for the elder population of the state of Alaska. Age and financial criteria apply.  http://doa.alaska.gov/opa/oefa/

Medicaid Fraud Control Unit – The Medicaid Fraud Control Unit has the responsibility for investigating and prosecuting Medicaid fraud and the abuse, neglect or financial exploitation of patients receiving Medicaid services and in any facility that accepts Medicaid funds. http://www.law.state.ak.us/department/criminal/mfcu.html

Certification and Licensing - Certification and Licensing is tasked to investigate complaints in licensed facilities for both children and adults and take appropriate action to remedy any complaints. Certification and Licensing completes inspections of licensed facilities to ensure compliance with state licensing regulations.    http://hss.state.ak.us/dhcs/CL/Default.htm

The Office of Public Advocacy - The Office of Public Advocacy (OPA) provides legal advocacy and guardianship services to vulnerable Alaskans. http://doa.alaska.gov/opa/

Alaska Disability Resource Center - Alaska’s ADRCs connect seniors, people with disabilities, and caregivers with long-term supports of their choice.
