Ian Miner is the Council’s Office Assistant II. He was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska and is a graduate of Service High School
Prior to joining the Council, Ian worked at the Center for Human Development as a front desk receptionist. He enjoys meeting new people and is busy helping with the Raven's Roost co-housing development where he will be owning his very own place for the first time (and is very excited about it).
Ian enjoys biking, downhill skiing with Challenge Alaska, reading sci-fi novels, and going to his family cabin in the winter. Also, Ian is a fraternal twin with his sister, Robin. He has an older sister, Emily, who is goingt o law school at Seattle Pacific University in Washington state. His father teaches fifth grade and his mother is a retired civil engineer with the National Park Service.
