Join us for a free Developmental Disability (DD) Awareness
Film Festival!

View short films on people with developmental disabilities (including the deaf/blind community) who live in diverse communities near and far. People with developmental disabilities share the same dreams and desires of all Alaskans: to be successful, independent, contribute to the workforce in a meaningful way, and have strong lasting ties to their communities. Public awareness and understanding are valuable ways to address the barriers individuals with developmental disabilities face, and to educate the public on supporting individuals as they connect to their communities.

A panel of local professionals will be present to answer questions about the films and developmental disabilities in Alaska.

When: March 20, 2020
Where: Bear's Tooth Theatre, 1230 W. 27th Avenue Anchorage, AK 99503
Doors Open: 11:30am
Event time: 12 - 2pm
Tickets: Tickets are free and will be available (first-come, first-served) on Tuesday, March 17th at 10:30am.
