1115 Waiver Demonstration Project

June 2019 - Alaska’s 1115 Medicaid waiver, the Alaska Substance Use Disorder and Behavioral Health Program, was approved in November 2018, with the implementation plan receiving approval in March 2019. The waiver provides greater flexibility to offer a broader range of services to fill existing service gaps and reduce Alaska’s reliance on crisis services. Visit the 1115 Behavioral Health Medicaid Waiver page for more information. Sign up to receive email updates on the 1115 Waiver.
