American Rescue Plan Act Enhanced Medical Assistance Percentage Proposal
The DHSS proposal to receive an enhanced federal medical assistance percentage under the American Rescue Plan Act for home and community-based services is now available online. The plan was submitted on July 12, 2021, is currently under consideration by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and possibly subject to change.
Developmental Disabilities Registration and Review (DDRR):
Developmental Disabilities Registration and Review (DDRR) forms can be submitted through the Harmony database. Please contact your nearest DDRC representative to request assistance with completing and submitting a DDRR form.
Infant Learning Program (ILP):
The Infant Learning Program will extend some timeline submissions and support local providers to keep track of Indicator data. Please contact your program technical assistant.
Centralized Reporting:
During this outage, please utilize the Centralized Reporting web form located at https://alaska.wellsky.com/intake/. You can also make a report of harm by completing the attached Intake Form and faxing to 907-269-3648 or sending via DSM email to dsds.mcntake@hss.soa.directak.net, or by calling Senior and Disabilities Services at 1-800-478-9996 or 907-269-3666.

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
Beginning January 1, 2021, Alaska Personal Care Services providers are required to collect electronic visit verification data to meet Section 12006(a) of the 21st Century Cures Act. This applies to the following service codes: S5125, S5125 SE, S5108, T1019, and T1019 U3.
The State's EVV vendor is Therap Services. Additional information about Therap's EVV solution, including the data Aggregator, 3rd party systems, project timelines, and project updates can be found online
