Strengthening the System: Alaska’s Comprehensive Integrated Mental Health Program Plan (2020-2024) - The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS), in partnership with the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority (Trust), released this plan which assists with guiding resources to the services, workforce and facilities necessary to meet the needs of Trust beneficiaries. Trust beneficiaries include Alaskans who experience mental illness, developmental and intellectual disabilities, chronic alcoholism and drug dependence, traumatic brain injuries, or Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
Alaska Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Strategic Plan 2017-2022
The vision of this plan is the prevalence of fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) is reduced and individuals who experience FASDs and their caregivers are empowered to reach their unique and full potential. This will be achieved through education, prevention, and provision of quality, relevant supports and services.
Statewide Opioid Action Plan 2018-2022
This plan was created in response to the Office of the Governor’s February 14, 2017 issue of a disaster declaration for the opioid epidemic and specifies actions for the state to pursue over the next five years.

This plan is a roadmap that guides the provision of senior services in Alaska, with a vision that Alaskans 60 and above are able to live healthy, independent, meaningful lives in the place and manner of their choosing.

The vision of this plan is that Alaska children, families, and communities are safe and healthy, and their developmental health and well-being are protected. Alaska seeks to accomplish this through improved linkage to necessary resources, reduction of the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences, and technical assistance for Primary Care Case Management.
